Meetings

AROO Board Meetings and General Meetings are held at Buster's BBQ, located on Pacific Hwy in Tigard, Oregon, on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 7:30 pm (with a few exceptions).

AROO Northwest Classic Rally Committee Meetings are held at Caro Amico Restaurant , located on Barbur Blvd in Portland, Oregon, on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm (with a few exceptions).

This month's General Meeting: April 15th at 7:30 pm Mr. Robert Ames to Speak For most of his life, Bob Ames has been an active part of the motorsports community. Whether you are interested in racing, touring, rallying, concours, or restoration it is impossible to miss his personal contribution to the Portland area. He is, indeed, a mover and shaker. Instrumental in establishing PIR, he continues to campaign vintage race cars. Along with Monte Shelton, he has completed the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. He continues to improve his talents in restoration and has a stable of varied and interesting cars, motorcycles and automobilia. Last summer he gathered a first place award at Forest Grove (where he has been a head judge for years) with his 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C1750 Spider. We have hopes to see this same car at our convention in July of this year. As one of our latest members, it will be a pleasure to hear Bob speak. Do not miss this month’s meeting on the 15th…!
